The road leading to the house is a bit difficult but it's ok to do it with a 4x4

There are a lot of wildlife around the property, immersive experience with nature.

The roads leading to the lodge were not all paved, some were really difficult to drive even with a 4x4. Please don’t take the southern route to Tenorio Volcano National Park, the northern route is better.

Isolated, in the wild, relaxing, friendly and helpful hosts.

Quite difficult to reach

This was our second stay at Rincon Verde and were so excited to come back! The setting is absolutely stunning. We saw monkeys, toucans and countless other birds! We had lovely breakfasts and Victor and his wife are so kind and welcoming.

Cute and very clean little cabins out in the wilderness. We enjoyed the landscaping and the owner and his wife are so nice. Breakfast was delicious

The dirt roads in and out of the property are not for the faint of heart. We had a brand new SUV and got a flat. It was a six hour wait for help to arrive (no spare or jack in the SUV). Also, they only take cash at the property and the owner speaks very little English. Still, for the price and the experience we’d do it again.

Breakfast was lovely, slept really well.

Very basic - no hot water & fan in the room was old didn’t give much “coolness”
