Riverfront Treetop Bungalow

The treehouse is a gem located in the middle of the nature of Homosassa River. We loved the Treehouse with it’s wooden equipped walls, spacious bathroom (with 2 sinks), cozy sofa and spacious veranda with grill. We sat ouside every evening barbecuing and watching the Spanish moss moving in the wind, which was very relaxing. We kayaked the Homosassa River to the Wildlife State Park (right side) and back, which was a very nice half day tour. We saw Monkey Island, many turtles and even a dolphin (!) hunting fish! We also enjoyed the 9am boat tour at River Safari with Susan.

One evening my sitting chair on the veranda broke while I was sitzing in it. We could repair, but I was always aware not to break through again. Some more chairs and a small table for a drink on the other side of the veranda (river side) would have been nice

Lovely location

Could use an extra warm quilt for each of the two beds in the bedroom. The living-room sleeper-sofa thick quilt was warm enough.

The location was fantastic! Quiet and secluded. A great place to stay after a long day of activities.

Need a firmer set of mattresses. But that's a back thing for me.

Lovely apartment, great location, free kayaks amazing, lovely touches in the apartment made us feel very welcome. We would definitely come again.

Oh my gosh, I loved the Treetop Bungalow so much! Would move in immediately. Great woodwork with love. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely tidy bathroom and a handy utility room with a washer and dryer. All you need for a good vacation is here. Just 1 min. to river Safaris boat rental and more!

That we were only 3 nights here...

The property was very clean inside! Was a small pond out front that was wonderful background sound while outside. Huge tree was beautiful. Loved that they had some things to do like movies, some very interesting books and our favorite puzzles. 😃

Kitchen was very dated but sufficient for our needs. The refrigerator rocked quite a bit.

Liked the village, liked the location.

Really dark inside. Even though we got message prior to check in that there where problem either the lights. Could have put in some more lamps that could be connected to any socket.
