CABAÑA LA TOSCANA

Great reception by the owner, who gave us many suggestions and helped with activities nearby. Cozy place, easy access.

This location was fabulous! My fiance and I rented a car to drive around Uruguay for 1 week and this was our favourite place that we stayed. It is easy to reach by car and gives the perfect location for exploring the nearby town and local wineries. Aldo and his family gave plenty of recommendations and were extremely helpful in finding any activity we were looking for. The yard is beautiful, plenty of open space backing on to fields (with some cute horses that would occasionally stop by for a visit). Every morning we were brought a delicious breakfast with beverages, pasteries, dulce de leche, fresh fruit, etc. that we were able to peacefully enjoy while looking out into the beautiful fields of Uruguay. We borrowed bicycles and went for a ride on the farm roads around the location. If you have time, I would also 100% recommend going to El Legado winery just close by down the road (it is an adorable small family run business with a great story and wine). The cabin was also exceptionally clean and had great Air conditioning! I would recommend this location to anyone looking to explore Carmelo!

Aldo, our host, was extremely gracious. He picked us up at the bus station and provided valuable information concerning the local wineries, restaurants etc. The cabana is beautiful and perfectly decorated. We were provided with a pastries, juices etc. for breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a more delightful place from which to enjoy the local wineries and Carmelo.

It was excellent.

Aldo communication was excellent. The property location was excellent for the wine tours. He help very much were to go and the direction in how to get there. He is very customer oriented. He make a big difference in our stay.

This was one of the best stays and experiences of my life, and our favorite part of our honeymoon in Uruguay. Aldo, the host, is incredibly kind and hospitable. He had a nice note and rose petals set up to welcome us for our honeymoon. He helped us make reservations, he let us use his bikes, and every morning he cleaned the place and brought us a lovely breakfast. He also made sure to do so in a non-intrusive way. The bathrobes are amazing!

No complaints. it was truly perfect.
