Super service, very spacious accommodation, beautiful view and good dinner & breakfast.

A little remote.

Wonderful stay, we felt like visiting friends- dinner together with the owner. The dishes prepared by chef were excellent. The view ower plane with game from the tent very nice. Would definitely visit again

Outstanding staff, warm, hospitable, helpful. We had booked a tent but found it much too hot so we upgraded to a large two-bedroom house.

The location was far too isolated and inconvenient for visiting Etosha. Primarily, it is a hunting lodge and we are not hunters. There are problems with their power and water systems, meaning that AC would run sporadically and the same for hot water.

Beautiful place with a view over the waterhole. Joanna and Marcel are fabulous hosts and made us feel very welcome Our 2 bedroom house was so spacious and we loved the way it was furnished and decorated We felt welcomed into the family as Marcel, Joanna and the wider family joined us for dinner and around the boma.

Reinhild, Joanna and team are extremely welcoming and accommodating. When the beds were not quite comfortable enough they exchanged mattresses for our friends etc. the luxury tents have a en-suite bathroom, which is amazing for the glamping experience. The bar is fully stocked and has ice cold beer on tap in the middle of the bush! The food is fantastic - portions are very generous and great value for money. Everyone is extremely friendly and will go the extra mile to accommodate you!

We were booked on the 2 Römer luxury chalet, that didn’t meet our expectations as it was not a lodge kind of style, more like a huge ‘hangar’, with no bush feeling at all, but the crew kindly allowed us to switch to 2 tents more safari style, what actually saved our stay.

Overall maintenance of the surroundings is below average, too much stuff and working tools, bricks laying around. Eating around the round table with everybody wasn’t too much enjoyable, we would have preferred more ‘privacy’. Food was OK, but average versus other lodges. Not really cool, we have been charged for the sundowner, just around the corner and beverages, a bottle of wine, 2 beers and Coca Cola, 45 and 25 Euro respectively without any specific notice ahead about the cost of such activities, definitely overpriced. In total we paid close to 800 Euro for a for a 2 nights !!! stay. , definitely the worst value for money versus all other lodges we enjoyed before.

Large out of town lodge with a huge animal area that is close to the rooms (tents). Quiet with not many rooms for guests. Knowledgeable hosts with big plans. Quirky and a bit different.

Rooms where canvas tents (but with a tin roof over and brick bathroom to rear). A long way from the nearest town, and can be hard to find. No wifi in room (tent). Animal heads on dining room walls may offend some.
