The room was scruffy and the shower was awful

This was our fourth visit to Tangala the reason being that we always see big 5 in 2 or 3 days. The driver and tracker and lodge service were all great

Travelling 10 up on the vehicle was not always comfortable and no attempt was made by the staff to rotate the passengers so my wife and I always ended up on the back seat.

Kleinschalig camp in een privé reservaat, met 2x per dag een super game drive, heel veel wild van erg dichtbij gezien, heel gaaf. Tijdlang een groep jagende leeuwen en later ook een luipaard gevolgd. De tent deed wat oud aan, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem, je bent er nauwelijks. Het interieur was prima, en het had een heerlijk, groot comfortabel bed. Rondom het centrale gedeelte/bar van het camp kon je heerlijk ontspannen met o.a. kijken naar het wild dat in de open vlakte te zien was. Rondom die ruimte was ook wifi. Het eten was heerlijk, het personeel erg vriendelijk. Het toegangshek naar het camp ligt op 25 minuten van Hoedspruit airport,makkelijk te bereiken.

We loved everything about this place - the location, the rooms, the dining area, the meals, the waterhole. We felt very welcomed and looked after. The safaris were sensational, our driver and tracker were second to none.

Noel was an excellent guide! Lots of special moments (e.g. watching the cubs) and I appreciated that they were always respectful of the animals (e.g., avoid shining lights in deers eyes). I also liked the open top safari vehicles and the warm raincoats provided. We were always well fed and staff was very helpful! Unfortunately we were there when the Wifi had some issues (due to rain I think) which led to payment issues and us waiting 10 minutes for the gate to open when we were in a rush. Hope that's fixed! Also, we drove from Kruger and the property was a little difficult to find on Google Maps but it all worked out fine. Thanks for the memorable experiences!
