Álaind Lodges, Sneem

Álaind Lodges is a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature, a perfect stop to recharge during the ring of kerry’ trip. The rooms are comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The home-made breakfast is delicious. Trish and Chris are wonderful and really kind hosts, making every guest feel welcome.

Our stay at Alaind was lovely! Even though we ended up checking in several hours ahead of our communicated arrival time, our host let us in early and got us settled in. With their encouragement, they directed us to walk down to the village for dinner (make sure you RSVP ahead of time for dinner!), then an exploration of the village. The night sky was gorgeous and the view from our room allowed us to star gaze as we drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, the view included the neighbor's ponies and birdsong! Our hosts provided a hot breakfast and a lovely chat about our Ireland tourist plans and then sent us on our way for further adventures.

Great house and owners and only a mile out of town in a great little country setting area. Room looked like brand new, even though house is approximately 15 years old

Accommodation was very nice . Our hosts Christmas and Trish were excellent and also very informative about facilities in the area.

I stayed just one night. Trish and her husband were very obliging and friendly. Breakfast was very good. A little bit out of town but easy walking distance. Beautifully quiet.
