Green Hope Lodge

Green Hope Lodge is a great option for budget accommodation near Cat Tien National Park. The property is a wonderful option for travelers seeking value for money. Luan, who speaks very good English, as well as other family members and the entire team, did a fantastic job hosting us. They were always nice and smiling, they also booked awesome tours of the park and its surroundings for us, provided general support and guidance, good food, and convenient laundry services. Luan also helped reduce the cost of the tours by adding other guests at the hotel to our tours, which allowed us to also meet other travelers, while still keeping the group under 7 or less people. The balconies with hammocks offered a well sought after respite when it was too hot to hike/bike, or when it rained, with terrific and calming views of the Sông Đa River, a branch of the Dong Nai River. The lodge is located a few minutes walk from many restaurants in the serene and green little village, which was very convenient if you would like to try other places to eat. The location is also about 5 to 7 minutes walk from the ferry to the park, and the team took us to the ferry on motorbikes before our tours.

Can't say even great things about this stay... we are soo happy we chose here. Everything from the room to environment to location was excellent. But especially the staff communication and coordination of park guides and transportation. It really exceeded our expectations.

房间装修比较简陋，但是和价格匹配。

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut. Ein Katzensprung in den Nationalpark. Die Kommunikation mit Luan war sehr gut! Auch vor der Reise ließ er uns schon umfangreiche Informationen zukommen und buchte Touren für uns. In der Lodge selbst ist der Standard einfach, aber absolut ausreichend. Das Essen ist phantastisch, preiswert und die Portionen sind sehr ordentlich. Mittlerweile wird das Wasser in Flaschen verkauft, es ist also nicht mehr unbedingt eine eigene Trinkflasche nötig. Wir haben die Gibbon-Tour, die Tour zum Krokodilsee, die Bootstour, das Primate Rescue Center und die Nachtsafari mit Jeep gemacht. Alle Ausflüge waren sehr schön. Es gibt mittlerweile auch einen Geldautomaten im Dorf, allerdings relativ hohe Gebühren.

Da gibt es eigentlich gar nichts zu schreiben.

Great location just a short walk to the ferry to go to the National park. Right on the river. Great gazebos with hamocks and chairs and tables and fans to sit in front of the river all afternoon. Breakfast was simple but adequate . Supper was very well priced and tasty. The beds were comfortable and the A/C workded to cool the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and happy. They always responded quickly through whats app. They arranged great tours. We did the boat tour and loved it. You are immersed in nature here. It was nice and quiet with the sounds of nature all around.

We stayed in the stilt house. It is a very traditional Vietnamese style of dwelling which was interesting. This is not a typical hotel in the fact that there are cracks and openings throughout the room open to outdoors. However the beds have mosquito netting and we had no problems. The shower is open to the whole bathroom and the tiles were very slippery when wet and the whole bathroom got wet. You had to be very careful not to slip. We would stay again maybe just a different room.

Nice place. Well organized. They can organize you all tours you want. Good food and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable, big and clean with really great view on the river and noise of the jungle. Really recommend:)
