Nothing I will definitely re visit

Ipe Tombe is one of the nicest B&B's I've stayed in. From the lovely, lush grounds and early morning birdsong, to spacious, comfy rooms and super clean windows, it is a tranquil haven. Pat and Chris are exceptionally welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb, as were the optional dinners. As a solo traveller, having the option of an in-house dinner was great. Fantastic hosts, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere make this a fabulous establishment, which I highly recommended. Thank you Pat, Chris, Boots and Thomas for a wonderful stay.

I liked the garden and the pool, and the atmosphere, in general, was excellent. The house is as advertised on booking.com. Breakfast was a highlight for me. The hosts are so friendly. I struggled to find the place, so I arrived at the hotel at 11:12 pm. Chris waited for me, and I checked in.

-Friendly management and staff and very professional, always ready to go the extra mile -Excellent clean environment, serene, calm and green -Delicious, filling breakfasts that can be varied if needed -The most magnificent gardens with the swimming pool, which, unfortunately I did not try. -A very spacious guest house with additional work areas such as a lounge, a Lapa and the garden -A few DSTV channels which was a plus for me as I’m not a Netflix person -In a gated community and therefore I felt very safe -Spacious room with a balcony and I ended up booking another week in a more spacious room😀 -Pat the owner & Chris the Chef together with all the staff really make it a wonderful, welcoming environment and I highly recommend the establishment

-An area for improvement could be the cleaning of the bathroom in particular, the floor and the glass basin which was in my room -Loadshedding is a bummer and not the owners fault. I had booked the place because it was advertised with Loadshedding back up. For economic reasons the generator wasn’t always turned on. I totally totally understand this and the owners tried their best to accommodate the times when I needed electricity/WiFi during loadshedding.Kudos to them

Unfortunately I did not have breakfast because I was catching an early flight. But the dinner was great. I like the fact that they have provision for dinner meaning no need for a guest to eat out. Management is super!!
