We had to cancel our stay at the Lodge when we saw the unmade road we would have had to drive down in order to get to the Lodge. We were told the day before our arrival that there was a 5k unmade road - this did not concern us as we have often driven on unmade roads. However, when we arrived it was obvious that we would have to have a four wheel drive as virtualy impossible to drive with a standard saloon - rocky and completely ungraded. This should have been made clear from the start of our booking. Very disappointed.

The food were top tier, it’s quite and a very good escape from the noisy towns

It was a most pleasant experience. We saw a variety of game, and had a close encounter with a buffalo. Fantastic place to stay.

The access is a 5km dirt road which, without 4X4would be challenging in wet conditions.

The environment and the safari drive were good. The pool was an added bonus.

The dinner was not to my liking. The meat was not cooked to how I asked and the vegetables were overcooked.
