Las Cabañas

We only stayed here for 1 night but this place was so cute and cozy. It was raining when we arrived so the moment we opened the door the sound of the rain hitting the ceiling was so magical. We were traveling the whole day plus driving from San Jose so this place was perfect to rest and to get is started for our first day in Costa Rica.

Clean place. The cabin had everything you need: rice cooker, microwave, fridge, electrical pan, TV, internet. Everything was nice.

I asked about amenities in the cabin and I didn't get any answer, so we brought many unnecessary things. It's not easy to get there. There are no signs, and the WhatsApp with the location arrived quite late for us. When we arrived, nobody was waiting, so we had a hard time getting in. The WC seat was broken, and there were dogs barking all night

We had such a lovely experience at this place. The owner was exceptionally friendly, and the cleanliness really stood out to us. It truly felt like a genuine Tico spot. We would have loved to extend our stay for another night, but unfortunately, it was already fully booked. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay!

We had an amazing stay. We got there at night time and the owner found us and met with us to show where the property was. It is clearly marked during the day. She showed us the property and asked if we had any questions. The shower had hot water, the rooms were clean/spacious and the fridge could freeze. Loved that they had a washer and dryer in the back with detergent that we could use as we please, and the pictures in the profile match exactly in person.

The AC is only in one room so we had to keep both doors open in order to stay semi-cool. There is also some pretty decent sized holes in the ac room where we think one of our bugs got in. There was also a massive spider that we took care of one night and there are little tiny ants that crawl around. But it is a cabin so it is to be expected.
