"Lovely neat authentic spot."

Really lovely well maintained spot. Rustic certainly but authentic and thoughtful spot. Lovely meal at a reasonable price.

No curtain on the window.... small issue. Didnt really bother me as was getting up early anyway.

Tiene buena relación calidad precio por las áreas humedas

El dueño vendió de más el hospedaje y nos dieron una habitación de calidad más baja. Como compensación nos dieron dos platos de comida pero la habitación estaba en muy malas condiciones.

"Would come here again"

I loved how it was so nice and private and we had our own space. The WiFi was fast and the beds were comfy. I rlly enjoyed my layover in Quito here and it was affordable and better than staying at the airport lounge.

The bathrooms are a bit outdated and our toilet was leaking.

We did not stay here because we expected to be closer to airport and our rooms were cabins not close to each other

Cabins instead of rooms. No airport shuttle- a taxi service. Not close to airport

"Great place, but avoid the “budget” room"

The grounds were wonderful! What a great place to spend the day! Pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, ping pong, basketball, etc etc. The grounds are nicely maintained, and there is a lovely bar/restaurant. Good location, 15 minutes from the airport. Staff were wonderful.

The room we had, the “budget double” or “corner cabin” was dismal. Small, dank, not particularly clean, uncomfortable bed, tiny tiny bathroom. I would not recommend this room. Spend a few extra dollars, get a better room, and enjoy the grounds.

"If you need to stay near the airport in Quito, don't stay at McKay's."

Nothing

Communication between booking.com and the property was terrible. The property manager gave my room away before my arrival. I was placed in what he had left which was cold, dank, dark and looked like it hadn't been used in years. The Wi-Fi connection was poor and I had difficulty communicating with anyone. Good thing I only stayed for four hours and I found a taxi and left. Quito doesn't have decent hotels near the airport.
