Location Cosy Ample fuel for fire provided Quiet Communication with owner nice Shower was lovely, powerful and warm. Plenty of towels provided. Coffee machine and coffee a nice touch Welcome basket was kind thank you Huge field to play in newly mowed so great to play football and exercise dog. WiFi was strong and able to load BBC iplayer, Netflix etc on tv. Handy to learn of a freezer. We stayed in and around the cabin all 3 days, going on scavenger hunts, wildlife watches and exploring the river banks. No rush to check out Price per night fixed regardless of time of year. Was lovely to take our dog for no extra charge. We live just an hour away so for us it was a change of scene. We live next to a woodland at home so appreciate all the birds and wildlife.

Few minor things….No storage for clothing on ground floor, except coat hooks so had to live out of suitcase. Would suggest shelves or extra hooks and/or rails on back of staircase. We were unsure how far we could roam. Map of boundary would have been good.

An excellent blend of nature and convenience! I’m an outdoorsy person but the friends I travelled with are not! This was the perfect mix. We watched deer from the living quarters, cooked on a barbecue and played board games. But we also ordered takeaway, watched mean girls and made iced coffees every morning! The value for money was impeccable with their being ample space for the 3 of us. The small details are really thought about here. There were a selection of board games and DVDs, a TV with access to Netflix and supplies for the log burner (with it even being set up ready to light upon our arrival)! The owner even left us a care package of pasta and pasta sauce, tinned soup and beans and a package of ground coffee to use in the supplied espresso machine, she even threw in a bottle of prosecco! Even the matching perfectly clean, fresh and high quality bedding sets added to the comfort value of this place! The facilities were great, having the convenience of a small freezer again is bonus points in my eyes! The shower was great, with excellent pressure and their were even towels provided (again beautifully clean and comfortable). We will definitely return. Thank you for a great girls trip/babymoon!

Everything was great Tracey and Dave were friendly, their hospitality was the best. Even down to the wee birthday hift they gave me. . It felt like we were talking to people we had known forever. The views were amazing.

The weather , it rained from the Friday to the Sunday morning the day of leaving. But thst didnt put a dampener or being away

The welcome basket was such a lovely touch. The kitchen facilities were clean and easy to use. Layout is great with plenty floor space and it was great to have the fire lit for our arrival. We used the wood/coal stove and the plug in heater for extra warmth now its coming in to the colder months and this kept us warm! Plenty of garden grounds to walk around, and just a short drive to shops etc. Owner greeted us to ensure we were all sorted which was lovely. Had a great stay and would come back again!
