The staff and service is very good - the food although not amazing is tasty and adequate. The area is amazing but the lodge was disappointing as it has no views at all. Pity as the mountains are so beautiful - why not use that from the rooms? Rooms are very basic, no decor although comfortable, no view or nice area to sit.

Our ranger was pathetic - no knowledge of birds (referred to one as an "LBJ"!!), trees, grasses or any interesting facts. She used the radio to find what others had already done - pleasant enough but really not very good or passionate about the bush. Annoyed by all the extras costs - just include everything so its simple, not charge for everything, including amarula for coffee break.
