Butterfly cabin

We are a family of 5 (48M, 48F, 21M, 18F and 16M) and had plenty of space for the few days we were there. The couches were comfy and big enough for a few of us to watch TV together at the end of a full day. The fridge although not full size was big enough for our needs and the kitchen helped us save a few dollars by not having to eat out every night. The heaters work well for those chilly nights and there is a heated towel rack in the bathroom. The shower was a little tricky to work out (very different to home) but once figured out was easy to use. Plenty of towels and extra blankets on hand for all of us. They have a very friendly cat and dog duo who greeted us every morning and often in the afternoon/evening if we were back early enough.

The only thing I have a negative about are the mattresses, not overly comfy. I'm putting that down to it being a popular place to stay.

L’environnement, les chambres séparées, le style chalet. Les serviettes de toilette.

Le manque d’ustensiles de cuisine, une seule poêle pas très propre et du pain resté dans le grille pain.

Lovely cabin, warm and Cosy. Dog and cat Def a bonus for kids. Good place as base with great views and fresh country air. Our kids stayed away from tablets for couple hours.

I would be of the same opinion as some other guests as in the description of cabin in woods. It's adjacent to owners house. Oven didn't work for us unless using it wrong.

Cabin is lovely nice location was an adventure for the kids. Fiona was very accommodating

Unfortunately there were a few issues when we arrived, the kettle was full of limescale build up and was unable to be used for baby bottles, the hob and tiles was dirty from last people that stayed there and cob webs in the bedrooms. Floors hadn’t been mopped before we got there and the shower had limescale all around it, the utensils are old and dirty pan needs replacing and the fan needs to be cleaned Cabin needs attention with been cleaned before guests arrive

We loved everything our 2 kids absolutely loved it and a bonus that the dog came to visit a few times. So nice very warm , clean and comfortable. We will defiantly be back soon.
