PUPUYA LODGE cabaña A, Matanzas

La ubicación y la orientación hacia el sol y la playa son inmejorables. La arquitectura, la decoración y el entorno de la cabaña invitan al descanso y desconexión. Muy cerca en auto de la costanera de Matanzas y locales comerciales para obtener todo lo necesario. A pasos de la playa y de dos muy buenos y lindos restaurantes.

La mantención de la cocina podría mejorar así como el de algunos artículos.

La cabaña bien equipada, limpia, bonita vista.

La escalera hacia el segundo piso algo insegura, no tiene baranda arriba y antes de bajarla tiene una madera tipo desnivel que nos hizo tropezar un par de veces. Justo antes de bajar. Solo eso mejoraría.

Place is nice and view of ocean is amazing and stargazing is spectacular. Place is very cozy, have everything you need for cooking. Also there is a wood stove. Bed is super comfortable. Communication with the host is also very good. For surfing you can go straight to the beach. No need to drive.

Everything extra you pay. Even the towels, drinking water, woods.. Location is good, but road leading to accomodations is not the best. Just a bit too pricey for winter months

Cozy bright cabaña with beautiful view. Well equipped kitchen, nice bed linen. We appreciated the tips about local infrastructure provided by the owner. Within 5-7 min of walk there are 2 very good restaurants right on the beach. Very calm during the working days. Prompt and detailed instructions from the owner.

You have to bring your own towels. If you look for a complete privacy, you should consider that there is a neighboring cabana to the side. Late check out is charged (50USD) even on the working days of the low season. You have to remove the garbage from the house upon check out, despite the cleaning fee is charged.

The accommodation was nice because it was warm and quiet. The villagers were friendly.

The water used was not clean. The water had a slightly reddish color, like rusty water. The landlord says that all areas are like that, but there are also large restaurants nearby. It is unlikely that they will use the same water to cook and serve food to guests. Also, the bathroom was not clean and I saw spider webs in the house. The landlord even told me to take the trash out and put it in the garbage cans managed by municipalidad. Seeing me looking for a trash can, the villagers said that it is far from here. He allowed me to use his own. I could throw it in his trash can. Etc
