Divers Lodge Moalboal

Divers Lodge is a nice, clean place with a nice garden. Every room has a nice terrace where you can rest after your day on the beach or full of adventures. The room is well sized, the bathroom is clean and the beds are very confortable. There are a lot of restaurants and tour operators in walking distance. The best is that Divers Logde has a sister institution, Quo Vadis Resort, only 1 minute walk away, where you can take advantage of the direct beach access, restaurant and the pool.

Although check-in was at 2 PM, the room cleaning was delayed, and I ended up checking in at 3 PM. I wasted an hour waiting. The room I finally entered had a broken air conditioner, which took another hour to fix. The staff were friendly, but the management seems to be poorly organized.

The convenient location to the water, use of the pool in the main resort and restaurants and shops all witjin walking distance.

A bit noisy from the next door lodge. Plus the local roosters making their usual noise but it is the way it is.

the rooms where away from the lodge , walk down a dirt road to get to the main lodge .. need a ride to get anywhere , restaurant was ok , pool was dirty and hot .. beds where bad , room was ok for the price ...

Spacious room and good location just outside the busy streets. Reception is a bit down the road but nothing too far. It’s nice to have a bit of outside space that is covered as well.

Some staff is very nice but not very helpful in recommending tours or activities. They don’t offer any and can’t really help. Also some staff look really angry that I almost didn’t want to bother asking questions. That’s a shame. The shower is okay, ours was broken the first night but fixed the next day. Just be aware that it’s very noisy when talking in front of your door. Some other guests where getting up very early and having loud and extended conversations on their patio at 5am. Super frustrating when it sounds like they are next to your bed. Please be respectful to everyone at after hours.

We enjoyed the food from the restaurant of their sister dive resort. Their resto provides a very good view of the sea.

The Divers Lodge itself does not have its own check-in desk. You need to go to the sister hotel to ask for the room key and everything. Communicating with the front desk can also be a chore.

Tucked away & off the major roads, so more quiet but close enough to all the restaurants & bars when you want. The Lodge is operated by a resort down the road where you have steps that lead you right to the water. Room was basic but did the job. I especially loved that there was the option of a ceiling fan and not just AC.

Wi-Fi was spotty at times
