Great Lodge it was a little bit out of the way perfect for one night not much to do there did not have a pool or anything to do on downtime, but was beautiful views

Wish they had a pool for guests to enjoy relaxing after a long day

Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und das Apartment sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt leider überhaupt nicht. Der Preis für eine Nacht ist sehr hoch, obwohl die Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen und renovationsbedürftig ist. Dazu kommt noch ein Nachtessen, welches viel zu teuer ist für die Qualität, die man bekommt. Auf unserer gesamten Reise haben wir günstiger viel bessere Mahlzeiten genossen.

Unfortunately No parking at cabin - an open communal parking quite a distance from the cabin No aircon - An absolutely essential item for the extreme heat Possibly a TV should anyone so wish to watch a movie/sport However, need to reiterate that the views, tranquility and staff made up for the small inconviences :-)

Tolle persönlicher Service 🤩

Super vriendelijk personeel!! Leuk winkeltje waar we wat gekocht hebben. Ondanks het slechtere weer, was het een fantastisch uitzicht. De weg ernaartoe is het dubbel en dwars waard.

Location of Paterson is a no for me!!

The Journey from Amakala to Paterson is on an unmade rd, full of rocks and debris. It’s a 30 minute trip at 30 kilometres/ hour. Managed to get a slow puncture ,unsurprisingly and when we finally reached Paterson, it’s covered in litter , goats all over the rd and the area itself is pretty intimidating, None of the roads are sign posted and having reached the N10 we abandoned the stay and got repairs. You couldn’t pay me to make the journey again but nobody warns you what to expect!! Good luck!

The staff where pleasant and helpful. Lovely outlook over the valley.

Accommodation didn't meet expectations. Lack of aircon and cooking facilities, only a microwave. Remote. My mistake but not, in my view, a good location for entry into Addo.

Urlaub im Paradies abseits vom Lärm, mitten in der Natur, mit Tieren auf dem Grundsück, die man schon bei der Ankunft sehen kann. Die Gastgeberin ist überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns im vorraus 2 Safaris gebucht. Wir hatten nette Gespräche mit ihr. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr liebevoll und reichhaltig. Die Logdes haben einen fantastischen Ausblick und sind wunderschön und sauber. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder. Danke für 2 tolle Tage.
