The Jungle Path Lodge

Jungle Path Lodge offered well equipped accommodation in a beautiful tropical garden in a very nice room with everything we need. Breakfast with fruit, pancakes, eggs, local specialties , toast, jam , decorated nicely and with textile napkins. Mr Saman and his son take care for everything and will organize everything you need for good prices. Local restaurants with huge varieties of food can be found in walking distance. Sigiryia rock access is more or less across the street. A paradise!

This was one of our best places we stayed in Sri Lanka! The host -amazing, smiling, helpful person. The best breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. We loved the place - it was in the jungle so we heard a lot of birds, not cars. The place was really really CLEAN. We really regret we could not stay longer there.

Incredibly kind family owners-I arrived super early having cycled there, they served me a delicious breakfast and got my room ready ASAP. Location is fab-you can enter Sigiriya rock via a back entrance (but it might be worth getting your entry ticket on your way to hotel as its a bit of a walk to the ticket office (inside the museum) once you are at the hotel. Easy walk into town/ restaurants. Room is basic but super clean,mini fridge, kettle provided and outdoor seating. All set in lovely garden.

The outlook was into the garden which was peaceful. There were monkeys to watch and also a peacock family behind our room. The family are lovely and very helpful.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a great time and the owners were very kind and helpful! We got Sri Lankan authentic breakfast! The location is on 8-10 min walk to Sigiriya rock. Beautifully landscaped property!! Definitely recommend!!

From the very first moment the host takes care of everything with great care and detail and makes you feel at home. He was also very friendly and helpful in offering me recommendations for visiting the area. Fantastic breakfast. The room is spacious and very clean in an idyllic setting. Highly recommended!

Location is Amazing, just three Minutes on foot to sigiriya rock! it is a beautiful oasis of green with hammocks- prefect for relaxing between safaris, tours and visits. opulent breakfast. we had mosquito nets but didn’t use them as there were no mosquitos.owner and staff was very friendly .they will help always.
