Little Oakhurst

Quiet, relaxing, nice bathroom and outdoor kitchen with a gas cooker. The hot tub was great. At night, the view with the lights in the distance is beautiful. In the morning there were rabbits running around in the field. Bed had a heated mattress which was very comfortable. Had a nice barbecue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. Couldn't have asked for more.

Just what we wanted for a little break for one night - spotless, clean, tidy, all the facilities we needed - kitchen area, comfy bed, shower & toilet, bbq, hot tub, outside seating, heating inside. Hosts were very attentive & helpful, they were always happy to help. They also have a little tuck shop if you need anything. Remember own towels but can pay extra if you forget your own (they were fluffy, very fresh & clean).

We loved everything, maybe a hand towel in the toilet / shower room. Apart from that, everything is absolutely spot on! I wish we would have booked for an extra night, we will definitely be returning :-) It was so relaxing to sit outside with the birds tweeting & watch the sun set / rise in absolute peace. We love glamping & I think this is my favourite so far <3

Absolutely loved this little place - so cute, very quiet and perfect for a romantic night away. We went for our 19th anniversary and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of prosecco.

The lights although very pretty, were dangling a little low over the bed so my husband banged his head on one getting up in the middle of the night and it shattered - was not fun changing the bed at 2am. But this didn't affect how much we enjoyed it here.

The facilities were excellent. Everything in and around the lodge was very well thought through, from the wheelbarrow to carry our luggage to the lodge, to the wood fired hot tub already stacked and ready to light. The furnishings and fittings felt very luxurious. Joanne couldn't have been a more attentive host, answering all of our queries instantaneously. Stunning scenery. Outstanding value for money. Need I say more? We'll definitely be back.
