Guse gård

Because of an accident in Guse gard we were in relative´s accomodation in Bakken 20, Feda, which was excelent! We appreciate this change very much.

Everything was nice in Feda, accomodation providers were excelent - we like them very much!

The house is spacious, tidy and comfortable. Farmer’s shop is on site with some local treats. Would stay longer next time to hike around.

Comfortable little house next to a small local road on a farm "in middle of nowhere" but in vicinity of E39. We stayed just overnight but it would be a good base for exploring the area with a car. We had a very quiet peaceful good sleep. There was no night-time traffic on the road. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking a dinner and breakfast. Decent value for money. There were bed linen and towels available in the closet and if you used them you just paid for it at check-out. Or you could bring your own (this is common in countryside locations in Norway).

A dog was constantly barking when we arrived and there were many cars so the soundscape wasn't initially too relaxing, but later it got really quiet (I think they were just visiting). I missed the parking sign when I arrived and didn't notice that the house had two doors at opposite sides. The guest parking is on the *north* side of the house and the key was already present there on arrival. This was of course my own mistake, just mentioning for others. There is a sign with a threat of a high fee if you don't clean adequately before you leave. This arrangement seems to be common in countryside properties in Norway but it always makes me a bit uncomfortable. I probably put even too much effort into cleaning. I prefer places that include final cleaning in the price. Then I also don't have to depend on previous guest's cleaning standards myself during my stay. I am not sure if this was stated clearly in the property description.

Although the place is comfortable and clean my overall experience was really upsetting.

Communication with host was terrible. My request to charge my car, although approved it wasn't fulfilled. I have called the host 4 times without answering and I also texted in rhe booking app, but again I received no response. Once we arrived we called the host and asked about wood and matches to set up the fire place, the house was pretty cold.The host was unwelcoming and asked us to look around the mIn house 😬🤬. Also, in the morning we left at 6:30 am and the host called us insinuating that we left without paying despite the fact that we secured the booking with my credit card. I have paid immediately over the phone, however the guest was rude and unhelpful.

Cozy, nice and calm.

Maybe someone would miss internet, but it was not an issue for us.
