Beautiful spot!

The location is gorgeous. The owners have a house on the hill with this private 1 bedroom and kitchen with spectacular views of ocean from inside or on your private deck or a private outdoor large hottub very to use. Very modern and beautiful design. It is only suitable for a couple as there is just one King bed and the kitchen/dining room has no sofa. It is easy to comminicate with owners but they give you complete privacy and you have a separate entrance.

Minor thing, although we had a full size refrigerator it had no ice cube tray. They had told us there were no grocery stores in town so we brought food- great kitchen to make meals but could have used ice.

The view was excellent and the unit was very comfortable.

One minor comment is the frying pans are needed to be replaced.

This place was exceptional in every way. From the easy check-in to the thoughtfully decorated, comfortable space to the incredible view, I can't say enough. We really enjoyed our short time here, the full kitchen is a huge plus as it is quite a drive to restaurants, so grab some groceries and supplies in Greymouth. However, if you are looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful surroundings, a soak in a hot tub with a glass of wine, this is your place! It's a short drive to a few really nice trails for hiking, beaches too walk on and the very cool Pancake Rocks (there is a cafe here with good food, coffee and beer!) We loved every minute.

Very comfortable house with an amazing view

Maybe we've been spoiled by the other places we stayed in but was momentarily surprised by the lack of cooking oil or spray in the kitchen. With the house a good ways from any grocery, I had to improvise on what I had planned for dinner. We have several of our own rentals and have found that by stocking the kitchens wirh oil and basic spices helps our reviews. I would rather pay $5 more a night and be pleased when I arrive to find all the basic things I need

Appartamento veramente molto bello, pulito, grande e ben arredato, situato sulla West Coast a 15 minuti di auto a nord di Punakaiki, su una collina con bellissima vista sull'oceano. Bagno top, doccia veramente enorme. L'appartamento dispone di una cucina, di tutti i servizi necessari e di una grande vasca idromassaggio esterna. Proprietario preciso nel darci importanti informazioni, come ad esempio l'assenza di stazioni di benzina a Punakaiki (le più vicine sono ad almeno 45 minuti di auto di distanza.

Siamo arrivati in auto con il buio e abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare l'appartamento, data l'assenza di illuminazione esterna. Inoltre la mattina successiva abbiamo trovato un enorme cane lupo non legato vicino alla nostra macchina (ha anche defecato davanti alla portiera). Ci siamo spaventati e indispettiti, perché trovo inammissibile che un cane di tali dimensioni venga lasciato libero di fronte ad un appartamento con ospiti. Queste due sono le motivazioni per cui diamo 8 come voto, altrimenti sarebbe stato senza dubbio un 10.

Beautiful design, warm and cosy to see out a storm - sat in hot tub under shelter while it started to rain. Very atmospheric! Excellent facilities inside - superbly appointed.

Views from the veranda and design of the gorgeous apartment. Hot tub was lovely. Comfy towels and sheets and bed and shower. The design of the house and decoration is beautiful.

Could have used a few basic cooking items for those who will cook (butter, oil) but we appreciated the coffee and tea and milk and lovely chocolates.
