Little Woodacott

Beautiful comfortable accommodation. So quiet and peaceful. Host were exceptional. Unobtrusive but quick to respond if we had any queries.

It’s quiet location and good facilities within the premises.

We understood the property was compact but the living room space was a little small.

It is compact rather than small, wi-fi extremely fast! Wonderful location, very peaceful setting, woodland walks from the door. Our dog enjoyed staying too!

Nothing.

Quirky secluded stay down a well-kept and very well lit track from the carpark. The instructions were excellent, the key, a torch, etc, all very accessible and the guest's needs really thought about. Wonderful! The cottage is tucked away in beautiful, interesting woodland with the sound of the stream below. Gorgeous location. The accommodation is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need. /the area is lovely too. Highly recommended!

Our only criticism would be better matrasses on the beds - one was a bit lumpy with springs pushing up. We would prefer a double bed but realise it reduces flexibility in a small place.

Little Woodacott is a beautiful cottage with the woods and a river at its doorstep. Everything you need is there and Mary makes sure you feel welcome by leaving home made scones and cookies. Even my dog Charlie got a bag of treats and she was so happy running freely around the grounds. Mary and Harley's hospitality and kindness is one of a kind and I will certainly go back to stay in this little paradise. Thanks so much for everything it was a memorable stay

Beautiful location in the woods, felt like Mini home away from home

Woodacott is a beautiful, well equipped, cottage in the woods. Truly wonderful, with an abundance of nature of your doorstep and the stunning North Devon coastline, just a short drive away. Mary and Harley were great hosts (together with the wonderful Bingo and Toby), and the little personal touches here, make you feel very welcome indeed. It feels like how life should be - no traffic, no noise, except for nature's chirpings and the distant sound of the stream flowing along. Totally magical. We didn't want to leave.

We loved everything about this place. There is nothing we would change.

The cottage was perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable and generally lovely. The location in the woods, with a lovely walk down a winding path leading to a river was really beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were so kind, generous, helpful and welcoming. They had laid out a cream tea for our arrival and supplied fresh milk and drinks for us which was so sweet and thoughtful. They have two dogs who would come often to say hello who were very sweet and well behaved and no trouble at all. The place was well situated for lots of short drives to beautiful locations in the area.

There was nothing not to like!
