"This is a beautiful setting but needs some tlc."

The setting is beautiful, especially the waterfall and the bush. The owners were very friendly and the rock pool has a lovely shape. The air conditioner gave a welcome relief from the heat until load shedding kicked in.

There is no WiFi reception even from our own modem. The very steep staircase to cabin creates hard work between the beautiful braai area and the kitchen. Sadly the pool water was very murky and the restaurant was closed. Bats living in the ceiling made sitting outside on the veranda impossible.

I like everything about this place, the hiking trail is phenomenal, The cabins are top notch, The location is great and it's an excellent value for money. Johann is the best. This is a jaw dropping lodge, I highly recommend it.

There's nothing I didn't like.
