Super nice chalet! It was spacious, design was modern, everything looked new and clean. You could even meditate or have yoga here! The environment was good and close to nature. If you need a rest, sense of tranquility and an escape from city, this would be the best choice.

Quiet place with great view. Had everything you would need for a short retreat in the mountains. Several attractions and markets in a 15 to 30 minutes drive. A great host that knows how to cater without any disturbances.

Nothing to dislike

A beautiful chalet in a fantastic location - it feels very private and romantic 💕. All we could hear was the distant sound of cow bells 🔔. Favourite moments include sipping bubbly in the hot tub whilst admiring the Mountain View and using the sun loungers for star gazing after dark. We also highly recommend a visit to the nearby Libearty Bear Sanctuary. The hosts at this family-owned property go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect. We arrived by train at Zarnesti station and didn’t have a car so our host kindly offered to collect us from the station. They made sure that we had charcoal for the bbq and ordered our first taxi when we hit a language barrier. (It was easy to arrange the rest of our taxis ourselves when we could communicate face to face). It is clear that their guests are very important to them. The chalet has lovely self-catering facilities and Tassimo coffee maker in the kitchen or you can cook on the bbq under a covered patio. The chalet is in Tohănița so shops and a few restaurants are a 10 minute drive away in Zarnesti. The restaurants have English speaking staff and offer a delivery service.
