Amazing place in the jungle. The rooms are beautiful, the gardens incredible, great staff, good restaurant. An experience not to be missed!

The prices of the tours

The rooms/cabins are very nice and located in a beautiful tropical garden at the riverside. From the restaurant you have a nice view on the Montes Azules on the other side of the river. We had quite some different “visitors” during our 3 nights stay: spider monkeys, howler monkeys, macaws, toucan, hummingbirds etc. Also the boat tour through Montes Azules is very spectacular. Highly recommended!

Staff and guides only speaks Spanish, no English.

The arrival and the bad taste it left in the mouth. The acting manager had given our river front room up to other guests. We had to negotiate to get it back. It took over an hour to get it sorted and we were offered no apology for the stress. Worse - we were left feeling we were in the wrong by an aggressive and stary acting manager who had made the wrong decision and refused to own it. That partly spoilt our stay which was a shame. On top of this the main manager was away and the place felt badly lacking in leadership. Otherwise a really charming and special place with good people

Beautiful setting on the river, nice cabanas, some wildlife, relaxing atmosphere with tropical plants. The resort is well maintained.

River is not swimmable and not much to do except of some paid activities offered by the front desk. Perfect dor a short stay but the drive from San Cristobal is very long. Food available from the restaurant has no vegetarian options and not good tasting. One person in pur group got a food poisoning from a fish and pasta was extremely salty. Also we could not understand the purpose of keeping the macaus in the cage.

it is a hotel in the middle of the jungle, don´t expect anything else. It is great.
