Bear Lodge

Very Clean and comfortable, great accommodation.

The lodge was lovely. Very clean and lovely place to stay! Staff were very accommodating with our late arrival. Beautiful views and area!

Everything Perfect setting short walk to lovely local pub (smiddy hough) Short enough drive to attractions like Blair Drummond and the Falkirk wheel Everything was set up perfectly ready for a lovely relaxing weekend away Clean comfy. My niece described it as homely. ♥️♥️

Everything! Clean, comfy, the owners have thought of everything so well equipped. Loved watching the birds come to the feeders. Near to lots of lovely places.

Nothing to not like

Another great stay with Laura and Shirley. Last year we stayed in Deer Lodge, which was amazing! This year we stayed in Bear Lodge, which was also fantastic! Bear Lodge has a wee summer house and an outdoor sitting area next to the burn. Lovely to sit and read in the evening with a glass of wine in hand! (there's a heater in the summer house, if needed) Laura and Shirley are exceptional hosts, very welcoming and friendly! Especially appreciated is the bottle of bubbly and milk waiting to welcome guests! Auchterarder is a great base for visiting areas round about, e.g. we visited Callander, Dunblane and Aberfoyle, all lovely! All in all a great stay and we'll be back! Also, most places welcome dogs, which is a big bonus!

Lovely lodge in a perfect riverside location, walking distance to a dog friendly pub for lunch :). Excellent facilities and exceptionally comfortable and clean
