Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang

One of the most amazing stays we've ever had on our year long travel through Asia 🙌🏼 The rooms are very comfortable, the fan room is amazing as well as the air conditioned room (we stayed in both). Food is well priced and extremely delicious, amazing food right at your doorstep! The best part about this stay is the staff! Everyone is extremely accommodative from planning airport transfer all the way to where you go next. Adiff organized everything for us and was the best in the business! We did the 2D Jungle Trek Tour and it was the best tour we've ever done, so worth and so breathtaking being in natures nest. Our guides and staff members Eddie & Haika were the funniest, most genuine people ever and made the 2Ds feel like trekking with family, felt very safe and all about positivity and amazing vibes. 10/10 all around and couldn't recommend this place enough!!!

Super nettes Personal. Wunderbare Lage, Sehr schönes Zimmer und bequemes Bett. Haben meine Anreise und Abreise organisiert. Die gebuchte Trekking Tour war ganz toll. Ganz viele Orang Utans gesehen und auch Gibbons. Unsere drei Begleiter haben uns toll durch den Dschungel und zu den Tieren geführt und viel erklärt. Es gab ganz viele leckere Früchte schön aufgeschnitten. Sowohl die Unterkunft als auch das Trekking unbedingt zu empfehlen ☺️

Au début, nous avons été super bien accueillis : ils sont venus nous chercher à la station de bus, nous avons eu un jus de citron, et tout l'équipe était adorable. La chambre était superbe, avec une très belle vue et une douche ouverte sur l'extérieur, vraiment au coeur de 'a jungle, c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix (sans eau chaude, mais avec cette chaleur, ce n'est pas un problème). L'emplacement et le cadre sont top, au centre de la ville de Bukit Lawang et au bord de la rivière, c'est très joli ! Et pour finir, le restaurant est super, avec de très bons plats pour un bon prix !

Nous avons trouvé ça dommage que leur attitude change à partir du moment où nous leur avons dit que nous avions réservé un trek ailleurs, qui était un peu moins cher. Nous aurions bien aimé passer par eux mais nous avons un budget à tenir... Nous comptions dormir une autre nuit chez eux après le trek mais le prix qu'ils nous proposaient pour la chambre avec clim était plus élevé que sur Booking. Et pour laisser nos sacs, il fallait du coup payer en plus. Nous sommes donc finalement partis ailleurs. Dommage de finir sur cette mauvaise note alors que nous étions ravis !

The staff here went above and beyond to make our stay special. They arranged our transfers from the airport and the most amazing Jungle trek where we got to see 5 orangutans. The room was spacious, clean and just as described, with the social area having a lovely view of the river.

Very clean and nice, great beds and great showers! Beautiful location at the river. Amazing food and kind staff. Did the Jungle tour here, which was amazing with again amazing food!

1. Staff Adit spoke fluent English and made trekking and transport arrangements at short notice. 2. Staff were well informed about locations for viewing rare blooms. We missed the Rafflesia but saw the rare Amorphophallus titanum in bloom at Batu Katak.(Someone needs to help the guide Ketok put up an English site for his guiding services to view this rare flower!) 2. Nice, comfortable room. Unique furniture. Charming location by the river with a rickety suspension bridge nearby. 3. The trekking guides were friendly and with their help, we spotted a pit viper, the Thomas Leaf Monkey, white-handed gibbon, orang utans, the Southern pig-tailed macaque and long-tailed macaques, all in one day. The 20min rafting trip back to the lodge was fun. Sad that we did not see the Silver Leaf Monkey and their orange coloured babies. 4. Good meals. Great cook. Brilliant idea to provide Pocari and fruits on the trek.

Would have been nice to have added a night walk to spot nocturnal animals since we were camping in the jungle.

We had a wonderful stay at the Greentravellodge in Bukkit Lawang. We also did the 2-day jungle trek with our guides Eddy and Randy. What amazing people. This was an experience we will never forget!!! Furthermore, the bungalows are super neat and cozy. The manager Kikki and her team, including Anna and her husband, the cook Bayu, and all the other people. I want to give special mention to the cook Bayu for his delicious freshly prepared food. It is also important to mention Adith. He arranges everything down to the last detail. We had planned to stay for only 4 days, but we stayed for 10 days. That says it all!!! Angelique and Roshan

Er viel niets tegen. Het was geweldig en dit komt zeker door de locatie, het team en Kikki de manager!

It was very nice and friendly. The room and bathroom were big and the hot water worked very well. The restaurant served very good breakfast - fruit salad was fantastic - and other meals.

The room was a little bit hot. There was a ventilator but it was not very effective. Maybe a ceiling ventilator would be more effective. The seating in the restaurant was really uncomfortable. The benches far too high for short people 😁
