Its worth it! Much more than other hotels that are more expensive in the area

Prachtige locatie, heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel. Ik kan het zeker aanraden.

Beautiful property and the staff was awesome. The WiFi also worked very well as we had a couple of meetings we had to take whilst we were there. We didn’t do the trek with them but they also offer trekking and they organized our transport to Berastagi in a shared car the night before as well. We stayed with them again once we got back from the trek

Manchmal ist weniger mehr. Wir hatten einen 3-stündige Dschungelwanderung gebucht, weil wir in unserem Alter (70) nicht mehr so fit sind. Es ging eine Stunde bergauf durch Gummiplantagen, bis wir endlich zum Eingang des Nationalparks kamen. Nicht weit im Dschungel war ein Orang Utan weit oben im Baum. Drunter standen ca. 10-15 Leute. Natürlich kam der Orang nicht runter, es war zu laut und zu voll. Irgenwann sind die anderen Gruppen weitergezogen, sie mussten ja noch ihr Tagesziel erreichen. Unser Guide Selemat sagte, wir sollten warten und tatsächlich, als wir nur noch sehr wenige waren und es ruhig wurde, kam die Orang Utandame runter und wir konnten sie aus wenigen Metern Entfernung betrachten. Wir haben später mit Leuten gesprochen, die 2 oder 3 Tage im Dschungel waren und Orang Utans nur in großer Höhe gesehen haben. Terima kasih Selamat! Außerdem ist die Lage der Green travelodge am Fluss sehr schön.

Es wird nicht automatisch täglich geputzt, man muss explizit darum bitten.

We had a wonderful stay at Green Travelodge in Bukit Lawang. The main reason for our visit was the jungle trek, and the lodge arranged an amazing overnight trek for us. Our guide Etma was very experienced, friendly, and funny, which made the whole experience even better. They also organized an airport pickup for us, and the driver was extremely kind and welcoming, which made our arrival very easy and comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend Green Travelodge to anyone visiting Bukit Lawang, especially if you’re planning to do a jungle trek.
