JOIVY The Lodge At Gilmerton House, North Berwick

Amazing property, everything is high standard. Log fire, bath, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, garden…

Late check in (16:00) and early check out (10:00). ☹️ Would be so much better if an hour extra on each. 🙂

Nothing it was perfect

The property feels a million miles from anywhere but all amenities are within a pleasant 10 minute drive. Beaches and country parks are all easily reachable and there are some lovely walks from the property. The TV had been updated to a larger screen so is not as shown in the pictures so was a pleasant surprise! The bedrooms were very comfortable as was the very deep bath!

The manual we received for the property needs to be updated but we mentioned this to the property manager and he advised that was in progress. e.g.a fire pit was mentioned but there was not one that we could see, the BBQ should have been covered but there was no cover, not that we were using it but the manual indicated we could be charged for anything missing. Some of the kitchen utensils could be updated e.g when cooking the knifes were quite blunt.
