Coconutbeach Bungalows

Lovely original style large wooden bungalows set in pretty gardens overlooking and directly on Koh Rongs prettiest small beach. Warm and friendly staff who made us feel so welcome. Nowhere matches this accommodation on the island for a peaceful and natural experience. Forget your phone and turn back the clock.

On the beach, has the beach vibe, has access to the water, very green and nature vibe. I stayed in a tent and it is protected well from the weather. Convenient bike (scooter) hiring. Seriously have no regrets staying here, the staff are helpful and they are currently expanding on their facilities with a bar overlooking the beach. Will definitely return to see the finished product in a few months. I also think the public space they have is ideal for small events, they had a fire going and some music. Also had canoes and rubber tubes for floating on the water.

There is a lot of trash laying around, like broken toilets, broken roof tiles, I'd say dig a hole, bury it. The concrete pathway by the tents needs to be fixed/filled as they use old wood to walk over which isn't ideal if you're in flipflops or barefoot. (most people don't want to wear shoes in this area because its on the beachfront). WIFI coverage was not good where I stayed, I stayed in the tent area and would suggest they get a modem in the little office (reception) there that can reach the tents and beachfront better. I understand they are tents but spending some cash to have power ports for convenient charging without having your devices far from you would be great, this adds to the "glamping concept". Noise due to construction started around 7am which is a bit early, I'd say 8-9am for noise is a bit more accommodating. Overall, these were minor inconveniences as the stay was still great and I would definitely return.
