Weltevreden Country Guest Lodge

Petra was a very friendly host, and she kindly moved us to room 3 for more privacy, it's a spacious room with a lovely garden view of the sunset. Peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Weltevreden Country Guest Lodge is very conveniently situated just before the Botswana border at Martin's Drift, and makes a great stop over before driving into Botswana in the morning.

It’s close to the Groblersbrug Border, conveniently located for an overnight stop. Big comfortable rooms with necessary amenities. Petra is a friendly host

Breakfast was freshly prepared by the hosts, Peter and Petra. Both of whom are amazingly accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent.

For the price, everything was as expected.

We really enjoyed our stay, only one night, at Weltevreden Country Guest Lodge. Petra en Pieter are excellent hosts. Pieter cooked us a delicious dinner. The house was very neat and tidy with good beds. It was well decorated and with nice antique furniture. The place is lovely, with the terrace and grass and on the farm the nyalas and the beautiful trees and flowers. It is also a very quiet place, far away from hectic life. We certainly recommend this place for people who love calmness. We keep this lodge in mind for the next time we travel from Johannesburg to Botswana. Thanks for the great hospitality!
