DEFantastic location
This lodge is used for hunters mainly and cater for these guests predominantly. Leisure guests are less catered for. We stayed a few nights and really wanted to walk and hike in the surrounding area on the property of the lodge however there was no routes, signs or anything for this purpose.

There was an ant and bug infestation in the room (room 2) that looked like it had been there for sometime.

Loadshedding should be accomodated for as the bungalow can get pretty hot when fans are off. The gas geyser gave a bit trouble.. had to improvise to get hot water bath.
ZABeautiful views of the gorge and very friendly staff. Delicious steak served for supper.
Rooms are small but fine for an overnight stay.

Never even slept here. He left us stranded with no where to go . There was no one to open for us . In the middle of nowhere and at night . We had no where to go.
LTHosts are very kind and caring. The place in general is much better than booking rating which is based on old visitors.
