Duiker Game Lodge

Ein wunderbaren Ort, an dem wir sehr herzlich empfangen wurden. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nach unserer Ankunft gab es eine geführte Wildtier-Safari mit vielen Informationen. Am Abend wurde uns ein herrliches drei Gang-Menü am Pool serviert. Alles mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit gutem Bett in ruhiger Lage. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht eingeplant hatten.

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen! Man weiß nicht wo man anfangen soll: die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das tolle Abendessen, das Ambiente, die persönlichen Game Drives, die Tierwelt und Fauna. Man kann wirklich nichts beanstanden! Jeder sollte das einmal erleben dürfen! Engl.: We loved absolutely everything: the outstandingly kind staff, the great dinners and dinner location, the atmosphere, the game drives, the animals around the lodge - literally everything. There‘s nothing we could find that we didn’t like. Everyone should get the chance to experience this once in a lifetime.

Nichts - Nothing we didn’t like

Zum zweiten Mal in der Lodge, die Qualität hat nicht nachgelassen. Schöne Cottages mit bequemen Betten, alles sehr sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut, freundliche und hilfsbereite Crew. Netter Drive am Abend mit vielen Erklärungen.

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war etwas schwach.

Duiker Lodge is one of the very nicest places we have ever stayed in our decades of international travel. The food is incredible, including fish, a huge braai one night, and a world class filet mignon that we enjoyed on the last night of our four night stay. The staff is highly professional: helpful, friendly, and charming, yet never intrusive. The room was comfortable, with an excellent king-sized bed, and attractively decorated. The setting is simply stunning, with baby animals wandering the grounds and bird song filling the air. Our included game drive on the property brought us up close to many animals, including nyala, giraffes and zebras. The Lodge arranged transfers with Diźa travel, whom we would also highly recommend, and a trip into the big 5 Park. It’s really hard to say enough about the value for price at this property. We had a wonderful, wonderful stay.

I wish the Wi-Fi were better, but that is bound to come along with a somewhat remote location.
