Great staff and comfortable rooms!

Everything was spot on, from the staff who were so friendly, to the room that had every facility.

Evening meals were superb, as was the breakfast fare. Staff are extremely guest-centric in everything they do, from admin, through cleaning staff, to the game drive & game walk hosts (specifically Sifiso) -- friendly and professional at all times.

The current Reserve understandably offers limited exposure to game in context -- with expansion plans shared however, this should put Duiker up there with the best in the area. Duiker anyway presents as an excellent place from where to base oneself for other attractions in the area.

Location, location, location This property is a small gem in the KwaZulu-Natal game reserve area. It has a small private game reserve where you can view giraffe, gnala, impala, wildebeest and tons of birds at a nice slow pace but is minutes away from others close by where you can view the big 5. The price/value ratio is excellent. The service is astoundingly good! Marli was just wonderful booking all the game drives that we wanted. Duiker has an excellent future ahead for itself.

For a few 20% extra that we would be certainly ready to pay (given the overpriced exclusive lodges on the private game reserves) - the meals could have been improved. They were good but could have been excellent. The breakfast was very good.
