Lensmansgarden

We felt very much at ease at this lovely old farmcomplex. The owner and her parents live in 2 houses, and a few other buildings are for renting. We stayed in the old cowshed and were lucky to have "Fjosen nr. 1 ": that was on the leftcorner and had an extra side-window. The livingroom was brighter and larger. We had a lot of space and a beautiful view at the fjord, the mountains and some people passing by on the small road. The picture shows only the frontdoor and 2 little chairs, but at the back there is grass and a picknicktable (and the view). It was very quiet, but it can be a bit noisy if your neighbours are not quiet.. We liked the good atmosphere, the good bed and the floorheating in the bathroom. The owner Marthe is very friendly and helpful. This place is about 12 km. from Andalsnes with its gondola and little train to Dombas (Raumabanen, so nice!) and centrally located for e.g. the Trollstigen.

Calm and Nice place to relax, beautifully surrounded by mountains. Cabin was clean and having all required things for 4 days stay. Host is very helpful and nice

No grocery shops around, nearest one is at 11km from place

Best view ever

No TV for the kids, but it's a minor thing. They watched something on the tablet. There was good WiFi.

Basic accommodation, camping like. Big room, plenty of space, air, nature. Big farm in the area

Price was low... no surprise, some facilities were missing. This place is appropriate for a medium - long stay. And you should bring some basic kitchen stuff Noisy party well after midnight

I feel very blessed to have met owner Marthe who is a nice and honest host. She without hesitation rectified an overcharged amount (mistake by both of us not so familiar with the payment device) with her banks.

Perfect place with very friendly owners. The house is really clean and comfortable, the surrounding is beautiful.
