Oakley View Shepherds Hut with hot tub

The hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The hut had everything we could have needed, the kitchen was fully equipped including an air fryer, toaster, microwave. The location was unbelievable, looking out over open fields, the only sounds being the local sheep and wildlife.

Loved the attention to detail and how much effort has been put in to make your stay pleasant. The host went to a lot of trouble to make sure we had everything we needed... even an excellent bottle of fizz! The log burner in the hut was fabulous we were well stocked with logs and firelighters, this is unusual as other places tend to leave you just a few, and it was really appreciated. The hot tub was fantastic, we lived all the gentle lighting and the views and tranquility was perfect. We felt we were the only people in the world! We really can't praise the hosts enough for the effort they went to. They were so kind and attentive. Best place I've stayed at by a royal mile.

Two days of peace and quiet in a cosy hut with a log burner

Nothing to dislike, the weather could have been better, but England and June 🤣

The location was stunning. Beautiful scenery, perfect escape from city life. The hot tub was wonderful. Watching the sheep and bunny rabbits was a highlight. The kitchen and bathroom area was clean and tidy. And the main hut had everything you could want. The welcome package left by the owner was a lovely surprise with some eggs and some milk and a small bottle of wine and cider. The surrounding area was so picturesque and close to Whitby and robin hoods bay for a walk around the quirky shops and amazing fish and chips.

The only negative for my stay was the weather. But the rain beating off the hut just added to the cozyness of the hut. So the negative was a positive.

Such a fantastic welcome from the host with lots of little touches to make us feel special. The view is exceptional! Had a relaxing couple of days.

Amazing place to stay. Amazing views. Amazing host. So tranquil. Beautiful views from the hot tub. Will definitely return.
