Wonderful stay in this magical space with a family. Lena was a wonderful host - kind, great cook, flexible and caring. Her two dogs were cuddly and friendly.

Hubo un muy buen trato de parte de la Sra. Lina hacía sus huespedes. El atardecer en el lugar fue lo mejor, una sensación de paz y desconexión del mundo☺️. La comida muy rica y el desayuno igual. En toda duda o requerimiento, te brindan de su ayuda. Los perrito son un amor y comparten con los huespedes. Te recogen en el puerto y te llevan a la isla.

It was a great experience with an unbelievably friendly host always willing to help out with whatever request you have. Breakfast lunch and dinner at the house were super. The hot water crooks and tea you receive at night are formidable (and necessary)

The description of the host should be read with some degree of freedom. There is no wifi. Water pressure is low. Hot water is the sun's work, so use it in the afternoon. In the morning, after 0 night temperature, the water is ice cold. Use the warm water in the crook to shower with. And Obviously, the island has no sewer.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. The staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful and very communicative. The dogs and the cat were lovely too. I highly recommend this place when staying on one of the Uros islands.

Lina is an excellent host, very attentive and accommodating. The location is great, it is a unique location and a comfortable place to chill. The bed is cozy and comfortable.

The cabin is unheated and uninsulated, the outside/inside temperature can be quite chilly. The bathroom is essentially glamping. The water is odorous, the toilet is VERY basic, the doorway to the bathroom is short, I banged my head on the top doorframe a few times, if you're >5'10" it is easy to forget to duck when your going into the bathroom. Compared to other places I stayed in Peru, I think this was over-priced.

Great views, plenty of blankets to keep us warm, was offered hot water bottles to keep us warm at night, lovely host, own terrace which was amazing for sunsets, hot water, tasty food.

You have to pay to be picked up at a private port (which you pay a taxi to get to) despite the fact there is literally no other way for guests to arrive. I think at least pick up and drop off should be included in the price, additional trips is fair enough to charge. No shops/anything around you as you are on a lake so you have to buy their food (which is very expensive for Peru).

The food was wonderful and prepared fresh.

Host didn’t interact with me. I basically stayed in my room. She charged me 18% Peru citizen tax, even she knew I am a foreigner. She asked me to leave at 8 am because she let me check in around 10:20 am, otherwise I have to pay $20 US dollars to stay longer. Later she said if I purchase lunch for 35 soles and pay $extra 20 soles, I can stay till 12 pm. I left at 7 am because I can’t stand the freezing cold.
