Only one bathroom and limited hot water.

The view, the nature around and the calmness were magnificent...Waking up to this was just more than perfect. Everything was in the house you needed. We were welcomed by fresh fruit and wine. Such a nice surprise. The owner was very kind and responsive. Location on Google: Villa Valpau

The location is just unbeatable. No one around, you're totally one with nature. And the view from the infinity pool is just insane. As far as the road goes: we were preparing for the worst after reading some reviews, but it seems the road has been recently paved. We had no trouble getting there and it was a pure joy to drive across it. It is, however, still la Palma. Our timing could'nt be worse when the road was temporarily blocked on the day of our departure due to heavy rainfall. The owner however helped us out (without us even asking for help) and arranged everything in order for us to catch our flight. Would and will come again.

The pool is absolutely amazing and very clean. We found all we needed for our stay, from salt to towels. It has a washing machine and detergent too. The road to the property is interesting so say at least. I almost got a panic attack but it was all worth it. You need a car, preferably a SUV. Taxi is not an option. Overall it was the best experience we have lived yet. If you enjoy the nature, freedom and your own thoughts, I highly recommend.

Would need an air conditioner. The days there it was a heatwave 40 degrees. This is the only thing missing on the property.

Amazing location, in the middle of the caldera. We were fully isolated. Good size of the house. The host was great, left us snacks, coffee and fruit.

The location shown in Booking is wrong. Search Villa Valpau instead on google maps to locate it. The road to get there felt very dangerous, twisty with sharp cliffs. In reality it wasn't that bad, but my partner had a panic attack getting to the property. Loads of insects and lizards, which is to be expected, and to be fair the lizard in the house ate some of the insects.

good to know that there is no windows (just wooden doors and shutters) and that it gets quite cold at night (in Feb) there was a beautiful old fireplace in the kitchen but when we tried to use it it smoked up the whole house. Paco was responsive and even sent us a electric heater that we ended not using as finally the sun came out and it wasn’t so cold. we where very happy to have warm clothes for the evening!
