Lovely little lodge very well thought out

Hot tub felt could have had another fence around

Food and service in the restaurant was very good.

Out-door metal staircase to access our room which was described as 'in the house' was an unpleasant wet surprise. The bathroom facilities were as described but the room was VERY small.

Location. Walking distance to a broad. Close to other areas of interest. Clean room. Plenty of parking

During day and evening music was played downstairs. This was not necessarily loud but reverberated and could be felt and heard in our room. Not good for vegetarian options.

Last minute booking, having been appalled with Gt Y hotel. Very welcome sight a nice bed in a lovely private cabin . & a Great pint of Guinness .

Staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was amazing, the dining experience was relaxed, didn't feel rushed at all so was able to enjoy the whole evening there.

Only thing was the people in the room next to us played their music louder than we would have liked... But that's not the hotels fault.

This is an excellent pub, the food was of a very high quality the service was excellent and the restaurant and bar areas were very clean and and well laid out with high quality furnishings.

Our room was upstairs we were in the Primrose room which was very clean and well appointed however the hot water system was poor in a two night stay we never had HOT water if you got up early in the morning it was just warm enough for a shower the rest of the day it wasn’t. I raised the problem with a member of staff who checked and said the water in the tank was not hot as it fed the whole pub and got used up quickly. This needs addressing urgently as you are in contravention of Legionella Control regulations which requires hot water exceeds 50deg. C at the point of use which it never was here.
