Rocky Mountain Escape Dome & Log Cabin Rentals - Rock Lake

It took some convincing for my husband who was unsure how he'd cope being off grid. After 3 nights, he didn't want to leave! Gary and Julia kept in touch with us on our journey from Jasper and Gary met us when we arrived. He explained everything and even lent us bear spray (which we didn't need to use!) The cabin is fantastic with lots of extra comforts. We enjoyed using the griddle to cook our meals outside. I don't think I've ever slept so well! We took a few trails and explored the area by foot as well as by car. We saw a herd of Elk on the road too. We loved our stay here and are hoping to return one day!

Nothing - it was an experience of a lifetime!

Everything! We stayed at the Rocky Mountain Escape during our road trip through the Rockies and this was definitely our favourite place we visited. The location is gorgeous with amazing scenery, wildlife and trails right on your doorstep. The cabin itself is exceptional - beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Julia and Garry were fantastic hosts and really made us feel at home. We will definitely visit again and would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the area.

Location and comfort

We loved the well-built cabins, the beauty of the property and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners.

A little far from the town center of Jasper, but also doable with planning.

An incredibly unique location in Rock Lake Provincial Park. The log cabins were beautiful and it is the perfect place to surround yourself with nature!

Fantastic lodge in a wonderful part of Canada and with lovely hosts!! Perfect ambiance to disconnect for a few days, enjoy the beauty of nature, the wildlife and the stars!!

Die Chalets sind der absolute Traum jeden Kanadaurlaubers und werden von Julia und Gary so unfassbar gut gepflegt als wären diese gerade eröffnet worden. So viel Liebe wird von den beiden in jedes Accessoire und jede Art der überaus umfassenden Ausstattung die bereitgestellt wird gegeben das wir einfach nur überwältigt waren. Die viel zu kurze Zeit die wir bei den beiden in dieser überwältigenden Szenerie genießen durften wird ein für immer unvergessener Höhepunkt unserer Reisen bleiben. La baita è dispersa in mezzo al Rock Lake Provincial Park, solo percorrendo la strada sterrata per arrivarci inizi a comprendere in che luogo di pace e calma assolutamente stai arrivando. La baita è un ottimo modo per staccare completamente dal mondo esterno, dalla tecnologia e godersi appieno la natura! La baita ha tutto il necessario e ti sembrerà di essere in un film da quanto è bella e accogliente! Gli host sono molto disponibili ed indicheranno precisamente cosa bisogna portare in modo tale da non essere impreparati. È un rifugio per ritrovare se stessi ed una quiete che ormai si vive raramente. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!!!!!!!

The dome is incredible, but for a limited number of nights as there is only a toilet. This was not a problem for us as our kids were in a cabin fully equipped
