Ekuthuleni Lodge

The staff made us feel at home. Everyone is so kind and warm. Johannes is the Best game ranger!!! The Chef is simply the best. So much thought goes into each meal. Food is amazing. The ladies are all so amazing. Paul and his dance moves during the Boma Braai was a cherry on top. The Chef baked an amazing birthday cake for my husband. And everyone sang and danced for his birthday. Thank you family. We are definitely coming back soon.

We stayed at Room 4. And our bed was slightly tilted and was sloping on my side (the side next to the bathroom door) as a result, I came back with a bad backache. But everything else made me fall in love with Ekuthuleni. I am still giving them 5 Stars. I know they will fix the bed.

I usually mark 8/10 for service and facilities as there's always something to improve but I can't fault anything at this lodge. The view across the plains was spectacular, the sense of adventure with an open camp was incredible. The cleanliness of the gardens. The reserve itself was amazing. I can go on and on.

Perhaps the large areas with no game - but game drives are always a question of luck.
