The view and location is amazing. Kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Communication was smooth

There was no Couch downstairs, other than shown in the pictures. The furniture was rather old school and not too comfortable.

Very well kept ,very clean, amazing stunning views and excellent strategic location to explore north and south areas of Lofoten

none although the frying pans and ladles are kind of worn out and would be better changed to new ones

I can not say enough good things about this property. The location was very quiet and felt remote but it is only 5 minutes to the restaurants of Ballstad and 15 min from Leknes. The property was beautifully decorated throughout- spacious dining table and chairs downstairs and leather lounge chairs and sofa upstairs. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook several meals (we had our own spices) and the refrigerator was large. The rorbuer can sleep 7 but doesn't feel too big for 2 people. The beds were very comfortable and we had access to extra comforters and pillows. The bathroom was spacious and there was a combo washer/dryer which was a bonus. Did I mention the views? OMG, we did not want to leave this place every day. You are on a small bay leading out to the ocean with incredible mountains in front of you. In our 4 days, we saw glassy reflections, storms roll in, rainbows, and beautiful sunsets. There is also a mountain you can hike right out your door that has beautiful views of the rorbuers and Ballstad. Also, the rorbuers feel private though they are located right next to each other. They are positioned in a way that you really can not see into your neighbor's cabin unless you are trying to! I can not say enough good things about this property, a true gem.

The only thing I can think of would be a fan for the summer. You must close the blinds upstairs on sunny days because it becomes very hot upstairs and even with the windows open, there is very little ventilation. But that is the ONLY thing I can think of, this place was close to perfect!
