Kruger Park Lodge Unit No. 253

The cleanliness and staff were excellent. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and well trained, service was efficient. The beds were comfortable, air conditioners worked well, kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were lovely and modern. Highlight was the staff.

The golf course is in poor condition and unkept, the gentleman who runs the golf is rude. Our unit had numerous things that were broken and which were reported to the managing agent but remained unresolved during our stay. The use of the private pool was reduced drastically because the outside umbrella over the pool didn’t work and so we couldn’t spend outside in the pool with our kids due to the sun exposure without the umbrella.

Very nice house with everything we needed for our stay. Great that it has its own swimming pool as the resort pool is very far away.

Some minor maintenance required

The cleaning crew were fantastic with big smiles and hard working and made sure the place was spotless

The house is run down with regards to 3 lam shades hanging on the side, the fully equipped kitchen had a broken wooden chopping board and a grater with no handle. There was not one matching piece of cutlery or crockery or glassware. Not even the 6 chairs for the 6 seater table in a 6 seater apartment were the same. For the amount of money and the distance, it was very very disappointing. It needs attention to detail or a big discount. The pool had a heater with a locked code, when asking for the code we were told it didnt work anyway. The pool was green and half empty!

Modern bathrooms, spacious, nice view over a lake. The agent, Joey, was very responsive and efficient, and the maintenance team came late in the evening to assist us with the DSTV (satellite TV).

There were occasional bad smells, from drains in the bathroom. Shower head in main bathroom too big for drain.
