The Villa is exceptional. Easily the best property I’ve stayed in

I enjoyed the food, scenery, scents of nature, occasional encounters with wild animals and the theme of the Zarafa. Food in particular exceeded my expectations. I did not expect to be served so many options and all of them taste 5 stars.

I had booked luxury Villa 3. The 1st night when we got to the villa, there was an odor on the room. I suspect that staff members did not thoroughly inspect the room before our arrival. My girlfriend and I asked for another villa. Villa 5 was given, however, it did not match the luxury of villa 3. We were disappointed regarding this.

Exceptional accommodation coupled with excellent food and perfect location. Zarafa far exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to go back. A true hidden gem in the lowveld.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti a The Zarafa durante il nostro viaggio vicino al Kruger ed è stata un’esperienza davvero indimenticabile. L’hotel è un 5 stelle arredato in stile balinese che merita pienamente la sua reputazione: la nostra sistemazione era una splendida villa con piscina privata, curata in ogni dettaglio e perfetta per rilassarsi dopo le giornate di safari. Il proprietario si è dimostrato estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a farci sentire a casa e a rendere il soggiorno speciale. Un capitolo a parte meritano le cene: ogni sera un tema diverso, piatti cucinati in modo impeccabile e presentati con grande cura. Un vero viaggio culinario che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più unica. Un luogo raffinato ma al tempo stesso accogliente, dove ci si sente coccolati in ogni momento. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca comfort, autenticità e un tocco di esclusività durante la propria permanenza vicino al Kruger.

Posizione ottima ma a 20 minuti dall’ingresso del Kruger Park.

The villa was absolutely perfect for my wife and I- comfortable king size bed, shower and bath tub with bath salts available for our needs, cozy lounge area with DSTV and strong wifi, and the amazing private pool. The restaurant was amazing, preparing Asian cuisine by country every evening.

Not much to not like. I suppose if I had to state one thing it would be the Thai tom yum soup, which is more of a preference.
