Very quiet and clean. Glenn was very gracious in giving tips on what to do or where to eat.

Très propre, café disponible pour le matin, hôte très réceptif, bonne communication. Le lit est très confortable et beaucoup de fenêtres! Très lumineux.

Insgesamt war ich zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, es ist nicht einfach in Ucluelet eine Unterkunft zu finden, die noch einigermaßen bezahlbar ist. Etwas außerhalb gelegen, ist man trotzdem mit dem Auto schnell im Ort.

Die steile Treppe zu den Zimmern wird in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt, für jemanden mit Knieproblemen war es schon eine Herausforderung. Die Kommode am Fernseher war ein wenig verstaubt, aber das war nicht besonders schlimm, es könnte aber bitte dran gedacht werden, überall Staub zu putzen. (Bitte nicht als ganz negative Kritik verstehen.)

Lovely hosts

The location is on a side street right off the main highway for easy access. Although it isn't in the woods, the Lodge is within walking distance to hiking trails in the Pacific Rim National Park. Glenn and his wife Dianna are the gracious hosts. They stayed in communication with us both before and during our stay. Glenn has lived in the area for several decades and was able to direct us for activities and good places to eat. They took a very easy going approach to our party of six. The three rooms we had were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Although there wasn't a formal lobby, Glenn let us know that they were avaialble 24/7 via a bell at the office door. We also communicated via text during the day.

Really, the only thing that took place was that one evening one of our three rooms did not have hot water. By morning the hot water was back. Otherwise the stay was great. We would go back again if we are ever in the area.
