"A little piece of paradise"

The staff were all super helpful and friendly and the place was great! There were different kinds of antelope around the cottage throughout the day. The views were stunning and it was so peaceful. And we really enjoyed the 4x4 drive up the mountain and through the bushveld

If I have to think of something that could be better, the water pressure could have been better

Very good location. Great spot with comfortable accomodation. Nice welcome. And a lion at the entrance is always a nice plus.

Anel and other staff were very welcoming and tried their best. Hiking and driving on the plateau was a wonderful experience. Landscapes are varied.

The chalets were too close to each other. Noise and loud music of neighbours was very disturbing. The place has seen better days: the infrastructure on the plateau is derelict. Not much game. The single lion in a small enclosure is a turn-off. Their web presence does not reflect the reality.

Anel is a great host, 20/10 type great. You travel on a gravel road on your way to Thaba Pitsi, but the ride is unnoticeable as the landscape is great going there, only issue is network connectivity in the area but the lodge has wifi, so we could keep in touch with our loved one's. The lodge itself is peaceful, the braai facilities great, she also makes sure you have firewood, and that for me deserves a 50. We mos normally forget that when we travel, then one needs to go back and look for firewood to braai etc. Ohh and there is a jacuzzi in the rondavel we stayed at. While my partner set-up the fire, I was inside soaking my stress away. Each house in the lodge has its own private swimming pool, which is a nice one for those who are travelling in groups. The area is so serene, peaceful, the sunset views spectacular. It is just what we needed. Thanks Anel for being a great host, continue being great and offering a great experience for guests.
