Zebra Kalahari Lodge

Everything was perfect. Jackson is the main guy that speaks to everyone. The room is beautiful and clean. The area is amazing. One small thing one of the two ladies at the reception is not very friendly.

The room was nice! Food was good and the sundowner drive was a very fun start for our trip in Namibia!

The pool side could have more seatings

Everything. The lodge exceeded our expectations and catered to our every need. The breakfast was great, dinner exceptional and the personal touch from Mister Philip and his crew made our stay extremely enjoyable. Even the Sundowner and Bushman tour with Beritus were fantastic. I would recommend everyone who can or wants to enjoy the Kalahari to stay at the Zebra Lodge.

Our Waitress, the barman, and the manager were all exceptionally friendly, and the zebra who loved a pat was amazing. The massage was wonderful, we felt very pampered. the food is delicious. the rooms were lovely, fabulous place to stay.

At arrival, I didn't think the staff were that friendly.

The Bushman Walk and also the Afternoon Drive with Chamberlin were really great. Chamberlin explained everything wonderfully and we learned a lot and also saw many animals. Also the masssage was really good and professional.

The rooms were very far from the main lodge, which is basically good, but the path through the hot sand was a bit difficult and the lighting right in front of our room did not work. When we arrived, we found the room not particularly clean, but the day afterwards it was better cleaned. Unfortunately, the service in the lodge was not good. The was hardly an employee at the bar which made it difficult to order drinks. When I did the booking, I stated that I cannot eat gluten. The Lodge responded that it is no problem to provide glutenfree options. Unfortunately, the waitress often gave me the normal meal and only after asking I found out, that this meals are not glutenfree and the glutenfree options are still in the kitchen. So obviously it is no problem to provide gluten free meals however it is not easy to also get those meals. Overall, we were unfortunately not convinced of the food. We had hoped for more for the price.
