The room was lovely, clean and spacious in a beautiful setting.

Be warned though that there is no housekeeping on weekends. Evening meals are by arrangement during the week - be sure to book in advance - but there no meals catered for on weekends. The guest house is quite a distance from town and if you don't have a car or means to get around for lunch or dinner, you are pretty much stuck. There is no such thing as Uber in Mbombela! I was hoping for a late breakfast on Monday morning, but they don't serve breakfast after 8:30am, which was disappointing. I also found the checkout time of 10am to be a little unreasonable, especially when check-in is only from 3pm. I was also rudely awakened by loud voices, swearing and laughing outside on the pool deck at 7am. One of my co-workers unfortunately had cold showers for two mornings because the heating element was broken. While the peacocks are a sight to behold, they are quite noisy, especially when they walk about and fly on and off the roof during the night.
