Il ristorante chiude troppo presto per la cena (8.00 pm) e intorno non c’è nulla. Colazione dolce poco varia

Knusse maar fijne kamer met een lekker bed.

Het zwembad was een beetje aan de koude kant. Het ontbijt was voornamelijk lokaal en niet echt iets voor ons westerlingen, zelfs geen ei of pannenkoekjes.

Good value for money.

Sound proof could be improved.

Perfecte ligging tov de watervallen. Leuk zwembad, mooi ingerichte kamers, lekker eten en een fijne douche!

Sehr schöne Anlage, mit zentral gelegenem Pool. Essen im Restaurant war super. Staff sehr hilfsbereit. Lage zu den Wasserfällen ist super. Ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Shuttle wird vom Hotel organisiert.

Frühstück sehr knapp gehalten, Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool sehr begrenzt.

Definitely stay at Artha Cottages! We stayed here to visit Tumpak Sewu, but gave ourselves an extra day. We’re so glad we did this as we had the best day of our trip - we visited Kapas Biru waterfall (a hidden gem with not many tourists, and a steep but manageable walk down/up). Then we mentioned at reception that we wanted to see Mount Semeru. The wonderful Suzan who works at Artha Cottages took us there herself! We took mopeds and she took us to three different spots and we watched the sunset behind the volcano - and Suzan took lots of photos for us on her camera which was so special! We’ve talked about this moment weeks after the holiday as the kindness of Suzan to do this really meant a lot to us. The food in the restaurant was nice and they let me have meals without the meat in as I’m a vegetarian. We also ate a few times at a local Warung (Selera Nusantara) which was delicious and had a big menu. The rooms had everything we needed, the pool was amazing after hiking, the trips were 10/10, but the people at Artha Cottages made it.
