Hot tub was lovely and warm well maintained hut and very comfortable and warm

The hideaway was amazing! The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit was great for making s’mores. We made use of the kitchen which had most of the needed utensils for making a fry up in the morning. It was very clean with such a relaxing, cozy and homely vibe throughout. Definitely would be back. Amazing for friends to have a catch up away from our busy lives!

No WiFi 😬 but if you stand at the door you’re able to send messages. However, it does say there is no WiFi available, but it would be helpful in case of an emergency especially if you’re far away from home.

Cabin was very cosy and in a beautiful location for a night away.

The property wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived our hot tub was filthy with leaves at the bottom and flies even though the cover was on it. Black hairs all over the carpet & the bed frame had all dirty marks on it. However the bedding was clean and washed. Robes would be a nice touch for people using the hot tub.

Great location, it was very quiet and peaceful; The host was amazing, great communication and clear instructions on how to use the hot tub/speaker, as well as instruction (with pictures!) of how to get to the property which was very much appreciated :) Loved the hot tub as well as the Shepherd's Hut itself, very cozy and comfortable, very clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances. We also got to meet and pet a very friendly cat :D

We could have used a second bath mat of some sort for getting out of the hot tub, getting out and standing on the cold ground barefoot and trying not to get any leaves stuck to your feet was a little tricky (Although this is also partly on us for not taking any flipflops with us), but we dried off as much as possible before going back in to change so it wasn't too bad :D

I really thought it was a beautiful location. Even though it's a hideaway need to definitely get up a sign to post where it is lol. Also need to have milk in fridge for a cuppa tea lol.

Excellent little night away

Perfect the way it is

Very comfy, quite and cosy.

Fire pit could/should have been cleaned from previous customers. Along with fresh wood and kindle/fire lighter replaced (Empty box of fire lighters) and no wood. This was the biggest issue Better selection of games would be nice also as there is no signal or tv for a bit of entertainment. Few other minor things that could have made the experience much better.

The location and view is beautiful, it was so peaceful. The hut is cute and homey and the hot tub was fantastic. The phone reception isn’t great, so if you are looking to use the sound bar they have provided I would recommend downloading music on your phone. Everything else was perfect 10/10 would recommend and stay again
